Le nouveau laboratoire consiste en une chaine de préparation physico-chimique complète permettant d’isoler et purifier les minéraux cibles et de procéder à l’extraction du béryllium et de l’aluminium pour des mesures sur l’instrument national AMS-ASTER (CEREGE). Dédiés dans un premier temps à l’extraction des nucléides produits in situ, les protocoles seront rapidement diversifiés afin de permettre l’extraction de la fraction atmosphérique du 10Be et ainsi soutenir de nouveaux projets en géomorphologie et géo-archéologie.
